This course provides an overview of the safety assessment process and how to adequately apply this to your facility; to ensure all hazards are identified, their risk is managed through adequate controls, and you are doing everything reasonably practicable to eliminate or minimise those risks.

- Risk Assessment – how to frame scenarios and the different approaches to risk assessment. Bowtie and LOPA basics

Safety Assessment is a phrase used in New Zealand Major Hazard Facility regulations however the methodology is applicable and transferrable to all types of workplaces that fall under the New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act. This course can be run online or face to face and is aimed at operations, maintenance, technical, HSE, and management.
